There’s something special about things made by hand and infused by the maker’s spirit. Fiber art is my passion. Whenever possible I upcycle materials from thrift stores, yard or estate sales, found objects, and fabric scraps. Making the things gives me joy which is passed on to whoever receives what I make. That is something that money can’t buy.
With all the discount shops from China multiplying, offering items at ridiculous prices, one might think that artists and makers like myself are a dying breed, but I don’t think so. All the things I make have my spirit in them, something you can not get from a factory, and that is the spirit of joy and love.
