Honoring a beloved chef.
Fiber art is my passion so for this piece, I was given a stack of chef coats and asked to come up with something to honor a long-time chef who passed from cancer.
This piece, which on display at Amelia National Golf Club, was purposely designed to be a collage with many contrastingelements, much like how a busy kitchen operates.
While working on it, I tried to energetically connect with his spirit to represent him in the way he wanted.

This piece was for a beloved dog. and is a combination of painting on fabric, embroidery and embellishment.
