Join us for a meditative and creative workshop where we’ll explore the sacred art of making God’s Eyes, or Ojos de Dios—a traditional spiritual object woven with yarn and sticks, rooted in Indigenous practices from Mexico and the southwestern U.S.
In this hands-on class, you’ll learn simple weaving techniques using colorful yarn and wooden dowels or sticks to create your own vibrant God’s Eye. Whether you’re new to crafting or experienced with fiber arts, this process is soothing, beginner-friendly, and deeply rewarding.
We’ll also take time to set personal intentions and reflect on the symbolic nature of this craft—often used as a prayer, a blessing, or a protection charm. All materials will be provided, and you’ll leave with a piece to hang in your home or gift with love.
You will have the opportunity to make a god’s eyes to take home AND add to a giant one that will be installed as one of many art pieces on the farm.
